Return To The Previous Story - Torry
One Friday Mrs. Greenway said, “Let’s go to the beach on the bus.”
Torry, Dan, Randy, John, Bill, Jack, Victor, Amy & Betty were all in one group. There were 3 groups. When they got there Bill told Jack about the story.
Then Jack said, “We should get them and Dan, Amy, and Betty too. Come on let’s net them they took the net and got them and how to pull them in and they were all but Dan in the net. Then Dan was caught. Jack used the travel machine to take them all to an island in the middle of the ocean. Then Torry told Dan, Amy, & Betty about his power.
Only Betty said, “Stop lying.”
Then Torry proved it. Then Bill used his magic camera. Then they all froze in this force field. But Dan & Torry the force field’s frozen, they broke out. But what about the others. Can they make it?
Then Dan froze all of them and they all got out. But then they had to spilt. Torry, Dan, Victor, & Amy went East & the others went West. Just then Dan, Victor, Torry, & Amy saw a cabin to stay in. Then the rest saw it too. They had a meal then went out.
Just then Bill said, “You must beat my friends in a game or I’ll freeze you and if you win you’ll stay here forever.”
As Bob was at bat the catcher said, “How about a piece of candy.”
“O.K.” said Bob.
So he struck out. The others said no but the ball went by them anyway, but their defense was good so the score was still 0 to 0. It was repeated in the 2nd, the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th, the 6th, and the 7th. Could they make some runs? Will the game have 25 innings?
Later in the 8th Dan made it on 1st. Then Torry was at bat. The catch missed the ball Dan came to 2nd, knocked down the 3rd baseman & came home. They won 1 to 0.
Then their machine had to be repaired. Then the group went to bed. All but Bob. He stayed to watch. But Bill had his magic gun Bob was caught later. They woke up then they saw Bob. Dan froze it then Torry broke it & Bob was freed. Then they were all at the machine and they were all back. They were O.K. and they made it. But Bill reneted them. They were pulled up and cut off. They fell just as Torry turned to a helicopter. They all climbed up Torry. Torry landed they got off and Torry turned back.
Torry saw a bus they all got on Bob & Bill had a fight on the bus just then the bus stopped in a tall building which was not theirs but it was where Dan’s grandfather was there. Dan told about everything. Dan’s grandfather told Mrs. Greenway. Then took them all home at last they could eat. On Monday they had Math & Spelling only Jack & Bob had homework. After Bob finished his homework he went to the fair. They were at a fight in the fair. They went in the haunted house. It frightened Jack & Bob. In the merry-go-round Jack, Bob, and Bill got dizzy. And the others escaped.
And then Torry said, “This is my powers.”
He showed the yellow crystal to everybody. Then Bob & Bill were not dizzy anymore. Bill chased Bob as Jack recovered, and he to chase Bob. Then the others went to a cave. As Bob ran and ran and ran. Then he ran to the cave. As they were there they found very interesting stuff. Dan found a ramp shaped thing in the cave to go to the ledge. Bill & Jack chased all the others. Bob, then Victor, then Amy, then Betty, then Randy, then Torry, then Bill, and the Jack they went. Torry turned to a rope and stakes and threw the crystal just after he changed to trip Bill & Jack went on top of him. Dan jumped off the ledge to catch the crystal. And came down and broke his right leg. Torry had the crystal to change back.
They took Dan to the hospital. As he got his leg fixed. They watched and still Dan was not well.
“Good bye Dan,” said Jack smiling.
Then they all exited Jack & Bill hoped Dan would not get well. Then they all went to supper. Dan got his in the hospital. At night they worked on Dan’s leg as he slept and slept. The next day was a conference day. They met again. Bill chased Bob hoping for the same thing to happen as last time.
Nothing Dan can do with his leg. Nothing they can think of to catch each other. They will go back to the hospital. Nothing with Dan. Nothing with Victor, Amy, & Randy. Nothing with Torry, Bob & Bill. Nothing with Jack. Nothing with them all! They went back to their meeting place. To think of something. But they thought of nothing. Nothing Bill could do tiring Bob. At last Bill had something, his crusher. He drove them back in his crusher and Torry dropped his crystal.
As the crusher was turned on Dan was in the hospital. They had less than five minutes to get out. Then the hospital people found some bluish medicine they had not tried. Four minutes left. They tried it. 3 minutes to go before they are flat. It got to the leg. Two minutes. He was better. One minute. Dan used the place machine. 45 seconds. Dan gave the crystal back to Torry. 15 second left. Dan turned it off. 5 seconds. He froze the bars. Torry broke them. Then Bob found a rope and lassoed Bill & Jack. And they had a good day.
