Return To The Previous Story - Dan And Jack
On Sat. October 14 1978 they decided to have a race. They’re off. Bob has a lead followed by Bill and Jack then Dan. Bill put a rope and stakes on the ground to trip Dan and the others ran on top of him. Now Victor’s in 1st, Bill is in 2nd, Torry is 3rd, Jack’s 4th, Amy & Betty are 5th, Bob has 6th, Randy’s 7th, and Dan’s last. Wait Jack is 1st, Victor 2nd, and Bob’s 3rd. Dan is back he is 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd. Jack makes oil in the track Dan slips & the others go around him. As Jack is 1st, Torry’s 2nd, & Amy 3rd. Dan’s back he’s 3rd. Torry has passed Jack for the lead. Jack is 2nd & Dan’s 3rd. Bob has the lead as Dan passes Jack. Bob is 1st, Torry’s 2nd, Dan’s stuck in 3rd, Amy’s 4th, Betty’s 5th & Jack’s 6th. Now Bill 1st, Torry 2nd, Dan still 3rd, & Jack is 4th. Who will win?
Dan & Victor are 3rd. As Victor’s 2nd, & Bob is 1st. Wait some changes Bill & Jack are 1st, Victor’s 2nd, Torry, Dan, Amy, & Betty are all 3rd. Dan took 3rd as they pass the ½ mark. Bob fell down. Torry passed Dan for 2nd. Dan had 2nd Bill used his magic camera, but Dan had a mirror to backfire it as Torry & Victor went by Bill & Jack melted it and were back but in 2nd. Jack dropped a banana. Dan slipped and the others ran on top of him. Dan’s back 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, and 3rd. Jack and Bill have regained the lead. It is close. Who? Just who? Just who in the world will win?
Right then they were neck and neck. Wait Bill & Jack are 1st, Torry’s 2nd, Dan’s 3rd, & Victor’s 4th. It stayed like that until just before the end. Dan got by to pass and win, Torry came in 2nd, Victor’s 3rd, Amy is 4th, & Betty came in 5th. Then Randy was 6th, Bob is 7th, Jack 8th & Bill was last. Dan got a blue ribbon, Torry got a red one, and Victor got one green.
