Return To The Previous Story - The Dragon, The Dragon's Crystal, And Torry
One day Torry wondered if there really was life on Mars it was Saturday. So Torry turned to a rocket. Randy, Victor & Bob want on Torry with some spacesuits. Then Dan, Amy & Betty with spacesuits. He blasted off & left Bill and Jack way behind. When they got to Mars they got out then Torry changed back. They looked around, it looked strange. They had a scale, the weights were strange. Torry weighed 50 pounds on Earth but only 20 on Mars.
They found something like a cave. They ate breakfast. Then they explored the cave. They found interesting stuff.
“Nobody knows if there’s life here,” said Torry.
Bill & Jack at Earth tried the travel machine to get to Mars. It did not work. It could only go to places on Earth.
As they went they saw Mars’ North Pole, it was cold there. They went to someplace else & had there lunch it was very good. They yet did a lot more. They divided to go all over Mars. Bob was scared to meet Martians. At last Victor & Torry met. So did Randy & Dan. Then they met. Amy came to the group, then Betty & then Bob they saw it was night at Mars. But Victor has a watch.
“2:30 Earth time,” said Victor.
They built a club house. had supper then turned on the heater, it was -100 degrees outside. Then they went to bed. In the morning it was still night at Mars. So they stayed inside, but a wind blew the clubhouse down. They had breakfast built heaters on the spacesuits. Then they all had to rest for awhile. After their rest it was lunch time. Then they went back into the cave. Dan went the deepest in the cave. The others were scared.
Meanwhile Jack & Bill used the place machine to a big rocket in the state of Texas.
Dan found a lost astronaut.
He said, “I was exploring Mars in a cave. They thought I was dead and just blasted off.”
Dan and the astronaut went out of the cave followed by the others.
Meanwhile Bill & Jack waited for a rocket to Mars.
Dan fed him the extra food. They went back to the North Pole on Mars.
Dan said, “I think this is Mars’ North Pole.”
They all explored the North Pole. Each went South. Then they went back North. And Bob, Amy, Torry, Betty, Randy, Dan, the astronaut & Victor met again. They all went back to the cave.
“Jack & Bill will never ever ever find us in a cave on Mars,” said Bob.
“I agree on that,” said Betty.
“Us too agree,” said Amy, Torry, Randy, Victor, and Dan.
But Jack & Bill still did not see a rocket to Mars. Then a rocket finally landed.
But “Flight to the Moon,” the announcer shouted.
“Drat!” said Bill. “I just wish there was a rocket to Mars.”
“Me too,” said Jack.
As Dan said, “I think the astronaut wants to go home.”
“Do you really think so,” asked Bob.
“Yes, I do think so,” said Dan.
“That is true.” said the astronaut.
“My name is Torry,” said Torry.
“Mine’s Bob,” said Bob.
“Mine is Dan,” said Dan.
“Victor is mine,” said Victor.
“Mine’s Randy,” said Randy.
“Mine’s Amy,” said Amy.
“Mine’s Betty,” said Betty.
“Mine’s John Hohasm,” said the astronaut.
They walked out of the cave.
Then John asked, “How did you all get here on Mars?”
Torry answered, “By this secret yellow crystal.”
He said that while showing the yellow crystal.
“That’s the crystal of the dragon’s,” said John the astronaut.
Then they all wondered how Bill & Jack were doing.
Meanwhile Jack & Bill stole some money to get on the rocket.
“This rocket goes to Mars,” said the announcer.
“Here,” said Jack handing the money.
He went on board.
Meanwhile the others were unaware of this. Then the group had supper. Then Torry turned to a rocket they all got in and Torry took off. They passed Jack & Bill.
“They have no money. They can’t be in that rocket. Wait ‘till we tear them up on Mars,” said Jack.
They landed on Mars. As the others landed on Earth.
“Something tells me they got a free ride back,” said Bill.
So they payed the rest of the money and went back to Earth. As the others turned in the astronaut. So they got free rides to Mars & back.
