Return To The Previous Story - The Bomb
One time Bill lived with Frisky’s mother. When he met Jack, Bill decided to throw her in the snow. That’s where Frisky was born so he hates Bill to this date. Then Frisky’s mother died Frisky and the kittens had to move on. They were running low on food when Amy came.
“I always wanted a cat,” she said. “But which one?”
Just then a big dog came up and all of them left but Frisky. The dog attacked Frisky.
“Beat it,” said Amy.
The dog was never in Jesterville again. Amy took Frisky and left the rest at a pet store then Jack had Amy just where he could kill her. Frisky saw this and ran. Amy went after Frisky. Then she saw a weight smash where she was standing.
“You’re Frisky,” said Amy. “Frisky that’s what I’ll call you.”
Jack and Bill knew they should be their cats and they’d catnap to get them back they robbed the pet store but one got loose a lady came by and saw the tag.
Then she went in the pet store and said, “How much does Tulips cost?”
Meanwhile Amy went home Frisky followed her. She found cat food and gave it to Frisky. He ate then fell asleep. Amy followed.
The next morning Amy and Frisky went on a walk.
They saw a boat ride ticket then someone said, “You’d like to have a boat ride to go on.”
So they did. Jack jumped on then Bill jumped on. Then Frisky saw them and scratched them. The captain tried to stop it but he was scratched too.
“A robot,” said Amy.
“Me-e-eow-ow,” said Frisky.
Then Bill and Jack took the escape boat.
“How do you stop this boat?” said Amy.
A wave came over the boat and splashed them. Frisky and Amy didn’t like it. The boat was about to hit a big rock. What could they do?
Amy took the wheel and turned the boat around then they saw something bad coming up it was a whirlpool. The boat turned over and Amy and Frisky saw the boat leave. Amy took Frisky and started swimming but the whirlpool soon got them the boat came by then hit the rock and sunk. They started swirling and swirling they saw they hardly had a chance at all. Then it stopped.
“What happened?” said Amy.
“Me-ee-eow-ow,” said Frisky.
Then it started again. Amy from that day on hated whirlpools and Frisky hated water. Frisky felt dizzy.
“We’re being pulled down,” said Amy.
“Meow,” replied Frisky as they plunged a little.
It seemed hopeless. Frisky and Amy started to go under. They swam out but they went under again in a few seconds it would all be over.
Meanwhile on channel 9 Jesterville someone said, “Missing a girl with her cat left for a boat ride and have never been seen again if you see them return them and you’ll get $85 for Amy and $15 for Frisky. Next we’ll have the Jesterville Jester’s basketball game.”
Meanwhile they swam up one more time. They were just about to have their last swirl when they saw that it stopped. But it didn’t last long it started again. Amy and Frisky were getting dizzy. They went round and round faster and faster. Then Amy went in Frisky didn’t know what to do and soon he went under.
Then they were in a big tank. A valve closed.
“That’s why the whirlpool stopped,” said Amy.
“Meow,” said Frisky.
Then the water drained and a door opened. They went in. Then a black robot came.
“How dare you come in this island,” one said.
Frisky scratched it. 5 more came. They ran down a long corridor. The robots followed. Amy opened a door and closed and locked it. Then opened another door went down another corridor and turned. Frisky followed her. Then they turned again. They saw the robots. They ran the robots followed. Amy went right Frisky went left 2 went at Frisky, 2 went at Amy and 1 stood guard.
They soon met each other. They saw the robots on both sides and ran then turned right there was the guard robot one picked up Frisky but Amy disconnected it. The guard robot got Amy and another got Frisky. Later they were in a room with the door locked and there they fell asleep. The next day they heard something coming so Amy and Frisky went under the bed it was Jack and Bill they saw they were gone and alerted the robots and left the door wide open. Now Amy and Frisky really escaped. Amy fell through a trap door but Frisky climbed above it. A robot got Frisky and put him in with Amy. They were talking. Amy was tied up but she was trying to untie herself. Frisky was put on a table. Amy untied herself and ran. Now Frisky found his way to the exit and found Amy. 4 robots followed them.
“There must be some way air comes in here,” said Amy.
Amy looked and looked. The robots were catching up. They ran to something that looked like a baseball field. They climbed up the stands. Amy saw 3 tubes for the air. Frisky was put in the one to the left while Amy was caught. Frisky followed the pipe wherever it went. Frisky didn’t know that a door closed behind him. The pipe started to slant upward. Frisky thought he’d never see the end of it. Suddenly it went straight up. Frisky held on to a spike and climbed up them. Then there was a screen. Frisky pushed it down and got on the boat.
Just then channel 9's report was on the radio. Then someone found Frisky.
“Whose cat?” the person said.
None of them answered.
“It must be Frisky,” one said.
“Where’s Amy?” said another.
So they started looking. At the same time Frisky was in the pipe Amy was taken to Jack and Bill.
“That switch controls 200 robots. You can’t make it,” said Jack.
“Yeah,” said Bill.
While Amy was taken to prison she turned off the switch. Amy got out and ran. Amy ran faster than she ever did in her life. Amy knew she had to get out of there. Then she found some diving suits. Then Amy started looking for the way out. At last she found it and swam upward. When Amy got to the top the whirlpool was turned on. Amy struggled and struggled. Then a bomb fell out of the diving suit and the underwater city exploded.
Amy swam on a nearby boat where Amy saw Frisky catching a fish. The boat landed and Amy and Frisky got off. They saw Jack and Bill had a cage with all the other cats. Amy opened the cage and Frisky had some playmates. Then they went home with the people on the ship.
“Instead of the $100 we’d each like one of the kittens,” they said.
Soon Frisky was the only one left. And they left with a kitten.
The next day Torry came.
“I like your new cat,” said Torry.
“I do too,” replied Amy. “And we did something yesterday that you won’t believe.”
“Meow,” agreed Frisky.
