FIRE By ... Steve Lucky As if having a life of its own, Fire burns anything found in its path. It will burn everything until it's alone, Leaving a trail of destruction in the aftermath. Heat too intense for humans to withstand Rises from its central core. Distance is safest without a plan. Fire burns everything yet still wants more. Boundaries must be established so the fire will not spread To places it clearly should not go. Consuming much like a living being, Uncontrolled its progress will not slow. Great power it provides when under control, Warmth alone give fire an important role. Copyright 2002, 2003, Steve Lucky
