SUNRISE By ... Steve Lucky Over the horizon creeps the first ray of sunlight Like the return of a long lost friend. Alone it call still disperse the night Bringing the time of darkness to an end. From their nighttime shelters animals emerge To sing and play as if daytime had always been. People ready for renewal feel the surge Vital for starting a new day again. Hearing the animals can create motivation. Other animals and people are encouraged to build their day. Relief from many different sources of fustration Comes from listening to what they say. Higher in the sky, the sun dominates Giving light simultaneously to all living creatures. Even clouds fail to seperate Sunlight from the world and all its features. Copyright 2002, 2003, Steve Lucky
