GIVE, DO NOT TAKE By ... Steve Lucky When one asks for one's own sake For people to live the way they should live, Instead of taking things, everyone should give. Yet constant trying will not make Those who choose to sleep suddenly wake And see those moments one needs to relive. Effort needs to be made to forgive Because much can be done with a simple break. Giving without taking should be done first By the one who intends to teach This valuable lesson so others can improve. Even people who are their worst One should still be able to reach. If one is in the wrong place, one should move. Copyright 2002, Steve Lucky
