DARKNESS By ... Steve Lucky Darkness consumed the entire land. Not a single source of light could be found. They found it hard to even stand When they could not clearly see the ground. Few people knew where to turn During the dark and starless night. Years later the people would learn How to create a source of light. More dangerous than the darkness one can see Is the darkness lurking inside the soul. Unless light can be found to insure victory, The darkness eventually takes its toll. Copyright 2003, Steve Lucky
