STORMS By ... Steve Lucky Every so often a storm will be encountered. It is a fact of life. Rain and snow fall from the sky And get scattered about by the wind. Birds take flight despite it all To reach their intended destinations. Other animals can sometimes be spotted Fleeing from the elements by taking shelter With whatever they can find. People sometimes are also seen Scurrying about in the middle of it all. Like the animals, people will take shelter If their schedules will allow it. However, some events can not be halted Due to inconvient weather. Great advances in technology keeps providing Better and better protection from storms Most people will eventually have to face. Nature is a powerful opponent And will continue to be for years to come. Copyright 2003, Steve Lucky
