TEMPTATION By ... Steve Lucky Temptation to do wrong does not go away One needs to resist it every day. God shows mankind the path that is right, Yet many people still try to fight Kindness and goodness with every breath. Following that path only leads to death. It is not a good time for placing blame While one is tempted to do the same. Look to God for where to go Since only He could possibly know Pressures from temptation and how to resist. Despite all the Devil himself would insist, Into temptation Jesus would not lead Because God was His greater need. Moments when temptation causes others to fall Should not mean the end of it all. Helping hands God can always lend. Every wound He is able to mend. Understanding the proper way to live Requires one to be able to forgive. Copyright 2003, Steve Lucky
