QUIET By ... Steve Lucky Not all words are broadcast to the world. Some things are heard by one person alone. Quiet sounds tend to be more pleasant, But require greater concentration to hear. Focusing on the quality of the sound, Every word is given great care As if it were the only word in existence. Listening is a skill everyone should know. Pleasant sounds are not always the ones best heard. It takes a subtitle touch to create a sound One will want to remember for a long time. Too often quality is lost When one tries to be as loud as possible. Gentle music can have a greater effect Than the sounds of explosions. Quiet sounds give one time to get the sound right Before broadcasting it to the world. Subtile noises often plant the seeds From which the major changes come. Quiet does not mean unheard.
