Return To The Previous Poem - One

GOING ON By ... Steve Lucky Past successes one should treasure, Yet one should not dwell too much on the past. Thinking about it might bring great pleasure But that treasure will not last. One must continue to advance Living in the current time. Words whispered or put in a song and dance Might withstand the daily grime. If not, one can always try again Until a solution can be found that works. From all the words of tongue and pen, Many of the greatest were originally considered quirks. Disasters continue so efforts must renew. On past successes, present solutions grew. Copyright 2003, Steve Lucky
