CAREER By ... Steve Lucky Day by day, year by year, One tries to build a successful career. Each event relies on what took place before. No matter what one does, the public still wants more. The needs of the many against the needs of the few Keeps even the generous from knowing what to do. As time goes by one learns techniques Which allows a month long job to be done in weeks. More than just a career in life can be found From what is always seen all around. Humanity should never be lost Regardless of the unseen cost. Precious time ticks by from the moment one is hired Until at last he or she is confident enough to be retired. Done for food and other things, Work is an important part of what life brings Yet life does not end when the work is done. Others will complete what one has begun. People continue with what has already been built Because a successful career will never wilt. A successful life is greater still. It covers more things than a job ever will.
