FIREFLY By ... Steve Lucky Firefly, with your light so bright How did you disappear into the night? Without your friendly glow I am lost So I must find you no matter what the cost. Can you turn your light on and off at will Or do involuntary reactions control them still? If I want to find you, where should I look. Unless you glow, you can be mistook For another type of bug flying through the air. Distinguishing takes time, but I do it because I care About the obsticles, whatever the might be Because I want to be able to see. Like you, I light a path for others to follow, Even if the idea seems hard to swallow. On the ground below and in the sky above, Friends and enemies alike need love. More than one viewpoint is needed to know In what direction a group should go. Dear firefly, this is why I look for your shine. Without finding yours, I can not find mine.
