GREEN By ... Steve Lucky Green is the color of grass and trees Swaying in the slightest breeze. Vital to every human being Is the green plant life most are seeing. Because green things are so abundant, Many will think it is redundant. Only a certain amount of green plants are needed. Why should the rest even be seeded? Different shades of green are all around. Plants change color as they rise from the ground. Leaves get old and the green starts to fade. Hints of changing color is the changing shade. Without green the world looks old As can be seen during times of cold. Returning green darkening all the way through Makes the world once again seem new. Nature shows one color in countless variety. Its image should remain in human society. Few people said it is easy being green, But it is even harder being mean. Copyright 2003, Steve Lucky
