BASIC FACTS By ... Steve Lucky Many lies about my life I will tell And many words I will misspell, But no matter how bazare or strange Some basic facts will never change. Hidden from most people's view Plenty of things both old and new, Just as real as what is known Remain unseen until they've grown. First they will appear impure Until they have had time to mature. Once uncovered the news will spread Quickly to places few dare to tread. Stories about them, real and fake, Will cause stronger appearing facts to break. Even rumors need a strong foundation To be accepted in every nation. Theories are constantly being tested By both the tired and the well rested. History itself is being rewritten, Yet a few basic facts can keep one unbitten. Nothing in this world is pure. On this basic fact everyone can be sure, Perception changes as new facts are discovered. Any given day, something else might be uncovered. When the couragous dare to look. Great things can be seen like an open book. Copyright 2007, Steve Lucky
