FORGOTTEN KNOWLEDGE By ... Steve Lucky Modern inventions allow one To access massive amounts of information Sometimes with as little effort As the click of a mouse. Yet as more and more information Reaches the general public, Have we lost the quality information Necessary for day to day living? Lost in a sea of trivial facts No one could possibly comprehend Exists the forgotten knowledge Of ancient and not so ancient times. Those who lived during those times Managed to aquire what they needed to know From nothing more complex Than the world around them. Vast quantities of information Can not replace the forgotten knowledge Provided by what can be seen, heard, and touched. Modern inventions are far from useless, But they must coexist with the rest of the world, Past, present, and future. Copyright 2007, Steve Lucky
